WHITE, after its success and media coverage in previous editions, is back with the Secret Rooms project. Five secret rooms will feature the collections of as many international talents. The confirmed designers were selected after careful scouting conducted by WHITE’s team, with a focus on promoting independent creativity, strong aesthetics and conceptual impact. Following the original vision of the project, the entrances to each of the Secret Rooms will be located at the end of secret corridors leading to dedicated private spaces, made unique by the artistic interpretation of the individual designers.

Alberto Ciaschini

Alberto Ciaschini follows and interprets a subtle yet powerful concept of seduction, absolutely out of the box, with a whispered reference to the style of the 1920s. In his vision, the shoe is an object of desire, fantasy and emancipation for the women who inspire him. Alberto Ciaschini has succeeded in fusing a cosmopolitan style and vision with the craftsmanship of traditional Italian shoemaking. The cigarette heel, the distinctive feature of the Smoking-Hot line, contains all the glamour and character of contemporary women.

TOTON

The SS24 collection by TOTON is a journey through the world of the multifaceted kebaya, a collection where foreign cultural influences are evident, traditions are deconstructed and inspirations from Indonesian culture are mixed with contemporary elements. The kebaya is a decorated garment, a blouse or tunic, traditionally worn by women in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. TOTON tells the stories of Indonesia with fresh eyes. Toton Januar founded the brand with Haryo Balitar, out of a mutual interest in exploring Indonesia through fashion and in response to the modern women’s need for individual style.

Risa Nakamura

Risa Nakamura uses natural fabrics and materials, such as handmade wooden buttons. She produces a line of hand-crafted clothing, completely unisex and suitable for everyday lifestyle. Risa Nakamura was born and raised in Tokyo but now lives in Italy where the entire collection is crafted, in a small workshop-atelier situated in a 15th-century building in Bergamo. To date, she has created and crafted by hand each of the garments in all the thirteen collections she has designed. To maintain the quality of his work, Risa has adopted the made-to-order formula. This also avoids waste and maintains sustainable production.

Samanta Virginio

Samanta Virginio is a women’s ready-to-wear brand recently founded by the eponymous Italian-American designer. Her collections are inspired by nature, the metropolis, and pop culture. The brand’s collections are crafted with the help of carefully selected Italian producers and artisans who adopt sustainable practices. Her latest collection combines knitwear with social wear, blurring the line between daywear and eveningwear. The unique ‘petal technique’, developed by Samanta during her studies, is applied in cascades of petals that decorate hems or bloom on bralettes, jackets and skirts.

Studio PANSTERS

Studio PANSTERS is a collection of unique pieces created by Dutch designer and artist Lieke Pansters. A series of garments produced using a modular tubular weaving technique, often without seams. A technique that does not involve cutting resulting in minimal fabric waste. The preferred material is wool. The combinations of structures and the manipulation of warp and weft create new surface effects that amaze the eye as much as the touch. The pieces in the collection, as is often the case with hand-woven products, are a hymn to imperfection: they all follow the same pattern but are naturally all different from one another.
